This animation demonstrates a set of computers and a printer connected in a network by a switch. Users can now exchange data and share resources in a much more flexible and efficient way. But the network currently does not have a server to centrally store users’ files. Storing files in the local hard desk of a computer will require users to use the same computer every time they need to access their files.
